On 19 May 2018, the annual Jeep ‘Go Topless Day’ event was hosted at Perdeberg Winery in Paarl. Liquid Pulse created exposure for the event through social media and measured the Jeep Club SA social page analytics during a 28-day period.
The Jeep Club’s post reach has grown significantly with 53,7K / 405% which was our number one goal – to create awareness of the Jeep Club and the Topless Day Event.
Engagements increased with 7,2K / 196%, and were encouraged through two different campaigns on social media. 306 new followers were created in a 28-day period and bookings increased with 164% from 2017. Bookings closed at 122 Jeep vehicles attending the event at Perdeberg Winery, which has been the largest gathering of Jeeps at one single event on the African continent to date.
Furthermore, Liquid Pulse Marketing and Communications were instrumental in organising the venue at Perdeberg Winery at no additional venue charge to Jeep Club Western Cape, as well as the sponsored biltong hampers from AfriFoods Biltong, the food vendors for the day – The Goose Roasters, live music, children’s entertainment, caricature artists and the use of a Jeep Wrangler, courtesy of Century City Motors, for the winner of the main competition that was launched on social media.
