Blaauwklippen

Liquid Pulse is pleased to announce new representation of Blaauwklippen Vineyards situated in Stellenbosch.

HISTORY
Blaauwklippen was founded in 1682 by Gerrit Jansz Visser, but it wasn’t until 1688 that the first vineyards were planted on the estate. In 1971 the renowned Stellenbosch Wine Route was founded, with Blaauwklippen as one of the first members.

ZINFANDEL
Renowned for its Zinfandel, Blaauwklippen has developed a loyal following among wine enthusiasts. By 1977 the very first Zinfandel vines were planted on Blaauwklippen, with the first wines produced three years later. Today this estate boasts a wonderful array of Zinfandel products, including a Methode Cap Classique, White Zinfandel and Zinfandel Noble Late Harvest.

BLAAUWKLIPPEN BLENDING COMPETITION
The popular Blaauwklippen Blending Competition was founded in 1984 and over 30 consecutive years later remains the only wine competition in SA aimed at consumers and not producers.
